Spiced Rum - for true connoisseurs
This premium spiced rum uses deep black sugar cane molasses from Paraguay. The fermentation is spontaneous, meaning no pure culture yeasts are added. This spontaneous fermentation develops extremely fruity and at the same time complex aromas that make the spiced rum unmistakable.
After fermentation, the molasses rests for several weeks in open containers. During this time, bacteria and wild yeasts become active on the surface, which provides the characteristic spiciness of the spiced rum.
The spiced rum is then double distilled in copper pot stills and then aged for 6 years in 6 different barrels. Each barrel contributes its own aromas and makes Status 6 ® Spiced Rum something very special.
Nose: Toffee and dried fruit, raisins and fine pastries, light nuances of bitter oranges
Taste: incredibly smooth, balanced sweetness, ripe banana, candied orange, cinnamon, complex
Finish: very long aftertaste with an almost endless vanilla-caramel note
